Lauren St. Peters, representing Aledo High in Texas and The Throwing Factory, produced a lifetime-best 46-0.50 (14.03m) in the second round to prevail in the women's 17-18 shot put at the USATF National Junior Olympic Track and Field Championships at Sacramento State. St. Peters, entering her junior year, had a previous-best 45-4 (13.81m) before the final.
